About Our Church
Rooted in 2,000 years of apostolic tradition, thriving in the heart of Prosper, Texas.
A Community of Ancient Faith in a Growing City
Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Prosper, Texas, is a vibrant faith community rooted in the oldest continuous Christian tradition in the world. As Coptic Christians, we trace our spiritual heritage directly to the preaching of the Apostle and Evangelist Saint Mark in Alexandria, Egypt, around 42 AD.
Our community gathers in Prosper, TX, under the spiritual guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Youssef, Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States, and led locally by our beloved Father Pimen. Together, we celebrate the same Divine Liturgy, speak the same prayers, and uphold the same apostolic faith handed down through generations.
Whether you are a lifelong Coptic Christian or new to the faith, Saint Mark is your home — a place of prayer, belonging, and transformation.
